AN ORDINANCE ~JqENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE
OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, ORDINANCE
353, AS AMENDED (OPEN SPACE ZONE).
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION I, REPEAL OF SUBSECTION 4.53(h).
Subsection 4.53(h) of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of South San
Francisco, Ordinance 353, adopted August 10, 1954, as amended, is hereby
repealed.
SECTION II. AMENDMENT OF SUBSECTION 4.53
Subsection 4.53 of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of South San
Francisco, Ordinance 353, adopted August 10, 1954, as amended, is hereby
amended to add Subsections (h) and (i) which shall read as follows:
4.53(h) Private, commercial, retail sales, restaurants and other
similar commercial uses when it is determined by the Plan-
ning Commission that such uses are compatible with public
and private recreation uses and the public interest.
(i) Private parking facilities when constructed.in conjunction
with permitted uses.
SECTION III, PUBLICATION AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
This Ordinance shall be published once in the Enterprise-Journal, a
newspaper of general circulation in the City of South San Francisco, as
required by law, and shall become effective thirty (30) days from and
after its adoption.
