AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 554, AS
AMENDED, ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE IMPOSING A TAX
UPON THE PRIVILEGE OF TRANSIENT OCCUPANCY AND
PROVIDING FOR THE COLLECTION THEREOF"
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. AMENDMENT OF SECTION 2 OF ORDINANCE NO. 807-80.
Section 2 of Ordinance No. 807-80 adopted January 2, 1980, entitled
"An Ordinance Amending Ordinance No. 554, As Amended," is hereby amended to
read as follows:
SECTION 2. EFFECTIVE DATE.
This ordinance shall become operative on July 1, 1980.
SECTION 2. URGENCY MEASURE.
This ordinance shall take effect and be operative immediately upon
adoption as same relates to taxes for the usual and current expenses of the
City as defined in Government Code Section 36937.
SECTION 3. PUBLICATION.
This ordinance shall be published once within 15 days after adoption
in the Enterprise-Journal, a newspaper of general circulation published in the
City of South San Francisco.
Introduced this 6th day of February , 1980, and passed and
adopted as an urgency ordinance of the City of South San Francisco at the
regular meeting of the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
