AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCES OF THE CITY
OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO NUMBERED 10, 280 AND 281
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. ORDINANCES REPEALED. The following Ordinances are here-
by repealed:
1.1 Ordinance No. 10, adopted the 14th day of December, 1908, en-
titled "An Ordinance making it unlawful to throw, sweep, dump or deposit
rubbish, garbage,~ tin cans, refuse of filth into or upon roads, alleys, streets
or private premises within the limits of the City of South San Francisco; pre-
scribing the disposition thereof, and providing a punishment for violation."
1.2 Ordinance No. 280, adopted the 1st day of November, 1948, en-
titled "An Ordinance prohibiting the accumulation of old iron, tin, sheet
metal, automobile parts, machinery and iron or wooden barrels in certain parts
of the City of South San Francisco."
1.3 Ordinance No. 281, adopted the 6th day of December, 1948, en-
titled "An Ordinance amending Omdinance No. l0 of the City of South San Fran-
cisco entitled: "An Ordinance making it unlawful to throw, sweep or deposit
rubbish, garbage, tin cans, refuse of filth into or upon roads, alleys, streets
or private premises within the City of South San Francisco," adopted December
14, 1908."
SECTION 2. PUBLICATION AND EFFECTIVE DATE. This Ordinance shall
be published once in the Enterpise-Journal, a newspaper of general circulation
in the City of South Sa~ Francisco, as required by law, and shall become effec-
tive thirty (30) days from and after its adoption.
