AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING PARKING METER
RATES AND AMENDING SECTION 15.3 OF ORDINANCE
NO. 491 AS AMENDED, ADOPTED OCTOBER 7, 1963,
ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH
SAN FRANCISCO ESTABLISHING TRAFFIC REGULATIONS
AND REPEALING SUPERSEDED ORDINANCES."
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. AMENDMENT OF SECTION 15.3 OF ORDINANCE
NO. 491 AS AMENDED.
Section 15.3 of Ordinance No. 491 as amended, adopted
October 7, 1963, entitled "An Ordinance of the City of South
San Francisco Establishing Traffic Regulations and Repealing
Superseded Ordinances" is hereby amended to read:
S~ction 15.3. Parking Meter Rates and Time .~
Limits.
The parking meter rates and time limits
shall be set forth in the following schedule
and the assigned Traffic Engineer and the
Chief of Police are authoriZed to erect and
maintain necessary signs pertaining thereto
on the street and in the parking lots.

SECTION II. EFFECTIVE DATE
This Ordinance relates to taxes for the usual and
current expenses of the City and shall take effect immediately
upon adoption in accordance with Government Code Section 36937.
SECTION III. PUBLICATION
This Ordinance shall' be published once in the
Enterprise Journal, a newspaper of general circulation in
the City of South San Francisco, as required by law.

1981 and passed and adopted as an urgency ordinance of the
