RESOLUTION NO. 15-2006
REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY BOARD, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO,
STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING INVESTMENT OF
MONIES IN THE LOCAL AGENCY INVESTMENT
FUND
WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 730 of the statutes of 1976, Section 164291.1
was added to the California Govermnent Code to create a Local Agency Investlnent Fund
in the State Treasury for the deposit of money of a local agency for purposes of
investment by the State Treasurer; and
WHEREAS, the Board does hereby find that the deposit and withdrawal of
Inoney in the Local Agency Investment Fund in accordance with the provisions of
Section 16429.1 of the Government Code for the purpose of investment as stated therein
as in the best interests of the Redevelopment Agency Board of South San Francisco.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Redeveloplnent Agency Board
of the City of South San Francisco that the Board hereby authorizes the deposit and
withdrawal of the Agency monies in the Local Agency Investlnent Fund in the State
Treasury in accordance with the provisions of Section 16429.1 of the Government Code
for the purpose of investlnent as stated therein, and verification by the State Treasurer's
Office of all banking infonnation provided in that regard.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the forwarding Agency officers or their
successors in office shall be authorized to order the deposit or withdrawal of monies in
the Local Agency Investment Fund: Richard A. Battaglia, Treasurer; Gloria F. Taonnina,
Deputy Treasurer; and JaInes Steele, Finance Director/Deputy Treasurer. The City
Treasurer is an elected position, and that position has the authority to appoint deputy
treasurers at his or her discretion.

I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and
adopted by the Redeveloplnent Agency of the City of South San Francisco at a Regular
n1eeting held on the 13th day of Septen1ber 2006 by the following vote:
