ADMINISTRATIVE BUSINESS 1)Annual BPAC Reorganization As required by the South San Francisco Municipal Code, the first meeting of the new calendar year for BPAC shall include a reorganization and election of new chair and vice-chair positions. With no objections or other nominations, Frank McAuley was elected as BPAC Chair for 2022. With no objections, Reno Bowen was nominated and elected for BPAC Vice Chair. ACTION: Election of BPAC Chair Frank McAuley, 6-0 ACTION: Election of BPAC Vice-Chair Reno Bowen, 6-0 2)Centennial Trail/Orange Memorial Park Master Plan Update City Staff, Philip Vitale and Joshua Richardson, along with the consultant team from Callander Associates, presented an overview of the ongoing Centennial Trail/Orange Memorial Park Master Plan Update. The project would include planning for significant improvements on the Centennial Trail and Orange Memorial Park, which includes more green space and be more inclusive of other types of recreational activities. BPAC Members generally supported the vision and the direction of the Master Plan Update, but would like to see better connections to these expanded facilities. 3)Emails from the public No emails have been received from the public. 4)COMMITTEE COMMENTS Committee Member Yip requests that any presentation materials be sent to BPAC prior to meetings, as possible. Staff will send materials ahead as available. ACTION: None taken 5)STAFF COMMENTS Secretary Espiritu reminded BPAC Members of a new process for Commissions/Committees to receive their compensations. Finance Department requires additional forms (including a new I-9 form) to be submitted. If any BPAC Members have not done this, or have not been informed, please reach out to Staff ASAP.
