AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 15.08.060 OF THE
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO
APPROVAL OF BUILDING PERMITS
The City Council of the City of South San Francisco does ordain as
follows:
SECTION 1.
SECTION 15.08.060 OF THE SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
MUNICIPAL CODE AMENDED
Section 15.08.060 of the South San Francisco Municipal Code, adding
Section 302(d) to the Uniform Building Code, is hereby amended to read
as follows:
"15.08.060 Section 302(d) added--Approval by other Departments
Required
Subsection (d) is added to Section 302 to read as follows
302(d) Approval by Other Departments Required
Before issuing any building permits, except a permit for
repairs or alterations, the Chief Building Inspector shall
first submit the application with plans and specifications to
the Fire Department, Director of Community Development,
Director of Public Services, Director of Parks and Recreation,
Health Officer and Police Department as required, who shall
examine the same and endorse thereon their approval or disapproval."
SECTION 2. PUBLICATION AND EFFECTIVE DATE:
This Ordinance shall be published once in the Enterprise-Journal,
a newspaper of general circulation in the City of South San Francisco,
as required by law, and shall become effective thirty (30) days from and
after its adoption.
