RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A
DONATION OF 591 MEALS TO THE CITY OF SOUTH
SAN FRANCISCO STAFF FROM FOUNDRY & LUX ON
BEHALF OF HEALTHPEAK LIFE SCIENCE
PROPERTIES, INC. TO PROVIDE FOOD FOR CITY
STAFF DURING THE HOLIDAY SEASON.
WHEREAS, the City of South San Francisco employs over 500 full-time workers; and
WHEREAS, on December 20, 2022 and December 21, 2022 Foundry & Lux, on behalf of
Healthpeak Life Science Properties, Inc., donated meals for City staff; and
WHEREAS, this year, Healthpeak Life Sciences Properties, Inc. delivered 591 Hot Meals to the
yard and served about 200 city workers with a preset menu at Foundry & Lux; and
WHEREAS, these donated meals have no fiscal impact to the City; and
WHEREAS, receipt of the donated meals showcase the City's gratitude to all its determined
employees,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
that the City hereby accepts 591 meals to the staff of the City of South San Francisco to support City staff
during the holiday season.
At a meeting of the City Council on 3/8/2023, a motion was made by Councilmember Addiego,
seconded by Councilmember Coleman, that this Resolution be approved. The motion passed.
