AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 2.22 OF THE SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO MUNICIPAL CODE
ENTITLED "SIGNATURES"
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. SECTION 2.22.020 OF THE SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO MUNICIPAL CODE
AMENDED
Section 2.22.020 of the South San Francisco Municipal Code is hereby
amended so that Subsections A. and B. thereof, reflecting officers author-
ized to sign checks, warrants and bank signature cards, shall read as follows:
"A. Office of the City Manager.
(1) City Manager
B. Finance Department
(1) Director of Finance
(2) Purchasing Officer"
SECTION 2. SECTION 2.22.030 OF THE SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO MUNICIPAL CODE
AMENDED
Section 2.22.030 of the South San Francisco Municipal Code is hereby
amended to read as follows:
"2.22.030 Contracts. The City Manager is authorized to sign all written
contracts made or entered into by the City and to sign all other instruments
requiring the City seal as directed by the City Council. For the purpose of
this Section, whenever a Motion or Resolution of the City Council authorizes
or directs the "City Manager" to sign a document, the term "City Manager"
shall include City Manager and any other officer or employee of the City
when said officer or employee is acting as City Manager pursuant to the
provisions of Section 2.36.020."
SECTION 3. SECTION 2.22.040 OF THE SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO MUNICIPAL CODE
AMENDED
Section 2.22.040 of the South San Francisco Municipal Code is hereby
amended so that Subsection B. thereof, reflecting officers authorized to
sign for disbursements from the Bail Trust Fund, shall read as follows:
"B. Finance Department
(1) Director of Finance
(2) Purchasing Officer"
SECTION 4. PUBLICATION AND EFFECTIVE DATE
This Ordinance shall be published once in the Enterprise-Journal, a
newspaper of general circulation in the City of South San Francisco, as
required by law, and shall become effective thirty (30) days from and
after its adoption.

Passed and adopted as an Ordinance of the City of South San Francisco
at the regular meeting of the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco this 28th day of March , 19 84 , by the following
vote:
