AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2.20.020 OF THE SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
MUNICIPAL CODE AND SECTION 3 OF ORDINANCE NO. 728 ENTITLED "AN
ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING BONDS REQUIRED OF OFFICERS OR EMPLOYEES OF
THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO AND REPEALING ORDINANCE 1, ADOPTED
OCTOBER 5, 1908" AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 898.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION I
SECTION 2.20;020 OF THE SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO MUNICIPAL
CODE AND SECTION 3 OF ORDINANCE NO~ 728 AMENDED
The third sentence of Section 2~20~020 of the South San Francisco Municipal
Code and of Section 3 of Ordinance No. 728 as amended by Ordinance No~ 898
is hereby amended to read as follows:
"The penal sum of the bonds shall be in a reasonable amount recommended
by the City Attorney and fixed by the City Council by resolution, but not less
than the sums set forth below:
A City Manager
B Director of Finance
C Purchasing Officer
D City Treasurer

$750,000 00
$500,000 00
$750,000~00"
SECTION 21 PUBLICATION AND EFFECTIVE DATE
This Ordinance shall be published once in the Enterprise-Journal, a
newspaper of general circulation in the City of South San Francisco, as
required by law~ and shall become effective thirty (30) days from and
after its adoption

Passed and adopted as an Ordinance of the City of South San Francisco
at the reqular meeting of the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco this 28th day of March , 19 ~4 , by the following vote:
