AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
MUNICIPAL CODE SECTION 2.64.030 RELATED TO
ATTENDANCE AT REGULAR MEETINGS BY PARKING
PLACE COMMISSIONERS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Section 2.64.030, Subdivision (h) of the
South San Francisco Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as
follows:
(b) Upon a vacancy occurring in a Parking Place Commission
office for any reason, including but not limited to: (1)
resignation; (2) council declaration .of vacancy.for a
commissioner's failure to attend three consecutive regular
meetings or failure to attend more than one-third of the
regular meetings within any twelve month period; (3) removal
by four-fifths vote of the council; or (4) removal on
petition by the owners of real property in the district in
accordance with Streets & Highways Code §35557 a successor
shall be appointed by the council to fill the unexpired
portion of the term.
SECTION 2.
SEVERABILITY.
In the event any section of portion of this ordinance shall
be determined invalid or unconstitutional, such section or
portion shall be deemed severable and all other sections or
portions hereof shall remain in full force and effect.
SECTION 3.
PUBLICATION AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
This ordinance shall be published once, with the names of
those City Council members voting for or against it, the Times, a
newspaper of general circulation in the city of South San
Francisco, as required by law, and shall become effective thirty
(30) days from and after its adoption.
