AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3.12.010 OF THE SOUTH
SAN FRANCISCO MUNICIPAL CODE TO REFLECT ADDITIONS
AND DELETIONS RELATING TO THE PUBLIC WORKS
DEPARTMENT REORGANIZATION AND A POLICE
DEPARTMENT POSITION RECI.ASSIFICATION
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO DOES HEREBY
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION ! COMPENSATION
Section 3.12.010 of the South San Francisco Municipal Code is hereby amended to add the
following to the competitive service:
Information Technology Manager
Lead Maintenance Worker (WQCP)
Instrumentation Technician
and to delete the following positions from the Competitive Service:
Administrative Analyst
Computer System Network Specialist
SECTION 2 SEVF~RARII,ITY
In the event any section or portion of this ordinance shall be determined invalid or
unconstitutional, such section or portion shall be deemed severable and all other sections or portions hereof
shall remain in full force and effect.
SECTION 3 PURI,ICATION AND EFFECTIVE DATE
This Ordinance shall be published once, with the names of those City Couneilmembers voting for
or against it, in the San Mateo Time~, a newspaper of general circulation in the City of South San
Francisco, as required by law, and shall become effective thirty (30) days from and after its adoption.
