ORDINANCE NO. 12a7-99
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3.12.010 OF THE
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO MUNICIPAL CODE
SECTION 1. SECTION 3.12.010, SUBDIVISION(a) IS HEREBY AMENDED TO
ADD THE FOLLOWING POSITIONS:

Under the heading "Administrative, Clerical and Fiscal" add "Payroll
Coordinator".
Under the heading "Inspection and Engineering", add the position "Permit
Technician".
Under the heading "Library" add "Local History Specialist".
Under the heading "Public Works - Supervision" add "Maintenance Services
Supervisor".
Under the heading "Skilled, Semiskilled and Unskilled" add "Building
Maintenance Craftsworker".
Change the title of the position "Literacy Program Office Manager" to "Office
Manager - Literacy Programs".
Change the title "Police Records Supervisor" to "Police Records Manager".
Change the title "Project Read Director" to "Literacy Program Manager".
Change the title "Senior Equipment Mechanic" to "Lead Equipment Mechanic".
Change the title "Storm Water Management Coordinator and Source Control
Supervisor" to "Environmental Compliance Coordinator".
SECTION 2. SEVERABILITY.
In the event any section or portion of this ordinance shall be determined invalid or
unconstitutional, such section or portion shall be deemed severable and all other sections or
portions hereof shall remain in full force and effect.
SECTION 3. PUBLICATION AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
This ordinance shall be published once, with the names of those City Councilmembers
voting for or against it, in the San Mateo Times, a newspaper of general circulation in the City of
South San Francisco, as required by law, and shall become effective thirty (30) days from and
after its adoption.
Introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of South San Francisco,
heldthe 23 dayof dune' ,1999.
Adopted as an Ordinance of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting of the
City Council held the d u 1 y day of 14 ,1999 by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Joseph A. Fernekes, Euqene R. Mullin and John R.
Penna, Mayor Pro 'Tem Karyl Matsumoto and Mayor James L. Datzman
NOES: None.
ABSTAIN: None.
ABSENT: None.
