AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3.12.010 OF THE SOUTH SAN
FRANCISCO MUNICIPAL CODE
The City Council of the City of South San Francisco does hereby ordain as follows:
SECTION 1.
1. SECTION 3.12.010, SUBDIVISION (a) IS HEREBY AMENDED TO ADD
THE FOLLOWING POSITIONS:

Under the heading "Library," add the position "Circulation Supervisor."
Under the heading "Inspection and Engineering," add the position of
"Senior Code Enforcement Officer."
Under the heading "Parks, Recreation and Community Services," add the
position "Pre-School Teacher."
Under the heading "Skilled, Semiskilled and Unskilled," add the position
of "Lead Electrical Technician."
Change the title "Account Clerk" to "Accounting Assistant IfiL"
Change the title "Apprentice Wastewater Plant Operator" to "Apprentice
Operator."
Change the title "Electrician/Mechanic" to "Assistant Plant Electrician."
Change the title "Development Review Specialist" to "Development
Review Coordinator."
Change the title "Fire Education Specialist" to "Management Analyst I/II"
and move "Management Analyst IfiL"
Change the title "Lead Maintenance Worker" to "Lead WQCP Mechanic."
"Maintenance Worker I" to "Utility Worker."
"Maintenance Worker II" to "Assistant Plant Mechanic."
"Mechanic Electrician" to "Plant Electrician."

Change the title "Senior Source Control Inspector" to "Senior

2. SECTION 3.12.010(A) IS HEREBY AMENDED BY DELETING THE
POSISTION OF "Park Supervisor."
SECTION 2. SEVERABILITY
In the event any section or portion of this ordinance shall be determined invalid or
unconstitutional, such section or portion shall be deemed severable and all other sections or
portions hereof shall remain in full force and effect.
SECTION 3. PUBLICATION AND EFFECTIVE DATE
This Ordinance shall be published once, with the names of those City Councilmembers
voting for or against it, in the San Mateo Times, a newspaper of general circulation in the City of
South San Francisco, as required by law, and shall become effective thirty (30) days from and
after its adoption.
