HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrd 1286-2001TI-IE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO ORDINANCE NO. 1286-2001 AN ORDINANCE REPEALING SECTION 2.16.020 OF'SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO MUNICIPAL CODE ESTABLISHING OF VOLUNTARY CAMPAIGN EXPENDITURE LIMITS FOR ELECTIONS TO CITY oFFICES ThC City Council of the City of South San Francisco does ORDAIN as follows: 1. I REPEAL OF SECTION 2.16.020 SeCtion 2.16.020 of the South San Francisco Municipal Code is repealed. 2. PUBLICATION AND EFFECTIVE DATE Th'_s Ordinance shall be published once, with the names of those City Councilmembers voting for or against it, in the San Mateo Times, a newspaper of general circulation in the City of South San Francisco, as required by law, and shall become effective thirty (30) days from and after its adoption. 3. SEVERABILITY In the event any section or portion of this ordinance shall be determined invalid or unconstituSonal, such section or portion shall be deemed severable and all other sections or portions hereof shall remain in full force and effect.
