AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3.12.010 OF THE SOUTH
SAN FRANCISCO MUNICIPAL CODE
The City Council of the City of South San Francisco does hereby ordain as follows:
SECTION 1.
1. SECTION 3.12.010 IS HEREBY AMENDED AS FOLLOWS:

Delete the position of "Assistant Planner."
Delete the position of "Communications Technical and Services Manager."
Delete the position of "Police Records Supervisor."
Delete the position of "Revenue and Contract Compliance Auditor."
Change "Accountant" to "Accountant I and Accountant II."
Change "Financial Analyst" to "Financial Analyst I and Financial Analyst 1I."
Change .... Police Clerk" to "Police Records Specialist."
Change "Senior Police Clerk" to "Senior Police Records Specialist."
SUBDIVISION (a)(2):
(1) Add position "Assistant Library Director."
(2) Change "Local History Expert" to "Local History Specialist."
SUBDIVISION (a)(3)(A): Change "Police Evidence/Property Specialist" to "Police
Property/Evidence Specialist."
SUBDIVISION (a)(4)
(1) Delete the position of "Senior Engineering Technician."

SECTiON 2. SEVERABIL1TY
In the~ event any section or portion of this ordinance shall be determined invalid or
unconstitutional, such section or portion shall be deemed severable and all other sections or portions
hereof shall remain in full force and effect.
SECTION 3. PUBLICATION AND EFFECTIVE DATE
This Ordinance shall be published once, with the names of those City Councilmembers
voting for or against it, in the San Mateo Times, a newspaper of general circulation in the City of
South San Fra acisco, as required by law, and shall become effective thirty (30) days from and after
its adoption.

Francisco, held the 27th day of June, 2001.
Adopted as an Ordinance of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting of the
City Council held the 11th day of July, 2001 by the following vote:
AYES:
Councilmembers Pedro Gonzalez, Karyl Matsumoto and John R. Penna
Mayor Pro Tem Eugene R. Mullin and Mayor Joseph A. Femekes
NOES:
None.

None.
