A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN
FRANCISCO AUTHORIZING THE CITY ATTORNEY TO CONSENT TO CAN-
CELLATION OF TAXES ON PROPERTY ACQUIRED FOR PUBLIC USE AND
REQUESTING THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS TO AUTHORIZE CANCEL-
LATION OF COUNTY TAXES AND THE DISTRICT ATTORNEY TO CONSENT
THERETO.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco that:
WHEREAS, the City of South San Francisco acquired certain
parcels of real property for public purposes, to wit: Fire
station site #2, and said parcels are hereinafter more parti-
cularly described, and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of said City desires to author-
ize the City Attorney to consent to the cancellation of taxes
pursuant to Section 4986 of the Revenue and Taxation Code of
the State of California and, further, requests the Board of
Supervisors for the County of San Mateo to authorize cancel-
lation of County taxes and the District Attorney of said Coun-
ty to consent thereto,
NOW, THEREFORE, it is ordered that:
(1) The City Attorney of the City of South San Francis-
co is authorized to consent to cancellation of taxes on those
parcels of real property acquired for public purpose, to wit:
Fire station site #2, said site being particularly described
as follows:
Ail that certain real property situate in the
City of South San Francisco, County of San Mateo,
State of California, described as follows:
Lot 6, Block 10, as designated on the map en-
titled "SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO INDUSTRIAL PARK UNIT
NO.2E SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO SAN MATEO COUNTY CALIF-
ORNIA'', which map was filed in the office of the
Recorder of the County of San Mateo, State of Calif-
ornia, on September 22, 1961 in Book 55 of Maps at
pages 20 and 21, and,
Portion of Lot 5, Block 6, as designated
on the map entitled "SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO INDUST-
RIAL PARK UNIT NO.1 SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO SAN MATEO
COUNTY CALIFORNIA", which map was filed in the
office of the Recorder of the County of San Mateo,
State of California, on September 14, 1956, in
Book 46 of Maps at pages 5, 6 and 7, said portion
of Lot 5, Block 6, being more particularly described
as follows:
BEGINNING at the most northerly corner of said
Lot 5; thence from said point of beginning along
the northeasterly line of said Lot 5 South 79° 42'
44" East 115.40 feet and Sou~h 17° 07' 24" East
145.77 feet; thence North 89 53' 30" West 20.94
feet; thence North 17° 07' 24" West 127.41 feet;
thence North 79° 42' 44" West 96.94 feet; thence
North O° 06' 30" East 20.32 feet to the point of
beginning.
(2) That this Resolution be filed with the Board of
Supervisors of the County of San Mateo and the District Attor-
ney of the County of San Mateo, and be deemed a request to
said Board of Supervisors and District Attorney to authorize
and consent, respectively, to cancellation of taxes on said
parcels of real property.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was re-
gularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the
