A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SOUTH SAN F~ANCISCO CANVASSING THE RETURNS
AND DECLARING RESULTS OF THE SPECIAL ELECTION
OF FEBRUARY 5, 1963, FOR ANNEXATION OF
"TREASURE ISLANd'
WHEREAS, a special election was held in the territory
known as "Treasure Island Annexation" on the 5th day of
February, 1963, for the purpose of determinin§ whether said
territory should be annexed to the City of South San Fran-
CiSCO, and,
W~EREAS, the City Clerk of the City of South San Fran-
cisco has duly presented to the City Council all the returns
of the votes cast at said special election, and,
WHEREAS, said City Council has canvassed the returns
and is prepared to declare the results thereof.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of South San Francisco that said City Council finds
and declares as follows:

known as "Treasure Island Annexation'' was 116
That the proposition which was submitted to the electors
residing in the territory known as "Treasure Island AnnexAtion"
was:
SHALL "TREASURE ISLAND" BE ANNEXED TOT HE CITY
OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO AND THE PROPERTY IN SUCH
TERRITORY BE, AFTER SUCH ANNEXATION, SUBJECT TO
TAXATION EQUALLY WITH THE PROPERTY WITHIN THE
CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, TO PAY THE ENTIRE
BONDED INDEBTEDNESS OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRAN-
CISCO OUTSTANDING OR AUTHORIZED AT THE DATE OF
THE FIRST PUBLICATION OF THE NOTICE OF ELECTION,
FOR THE ACQUISITION, CONSTRUCTION OR COMPLETION
OF MUNICIPAL IMPROVEMENTS?"
That the total number of votes cast for and against annex-
ation in said election were as follows:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of South San Francisco does hereby declare that the
electors of the territory known as "Treasure Island Annex-
ation'' have elected to annex said territory to the City of
South San Francisco, which annexation is approved by the
City Council of the City of South San Francisco, and fur-
ther proceedings to affect and complete said .annexation are
hereby authorized.
