A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO OF PUBLIC INTEREST AND NECESSITY
RESOLVED, that public interest and necessity require
the acquisition by the City of South San Francisco, a muni-
cipal corporation of the State of California, of the follow-
ing parcels of real property situate in the City of South
San Francisco, State of California, more particularly des-
cribed as follows, to wit:
All that certain re~l property situate in the City of South San Francisco, County
of S~n Malco, State of C~lifornia, described as follows:
All that portion of the Z. 163 acre tract of land described in Deed from Sprin~
Valley Water Company to South San Francisco Land and Improvement Comp&ny, ·
a corporation, recorded April b, 19~-7 in Book 307 o£ Official Records of
M&teo County at page 1, as lies westerly of the westerly line of & strip of land
33 feet wide, as deecribed in Parcel 3 of the Deed from South San Fr&m:ieco
Land and Improvement Company, & corporation to Southern Pacific Company,
a corporation, dated September Z. 1930 and recorded November Z0, 1930 in

Commencing at a point on the southwestern line of the State Highway known am

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that these lands are suitable,
adaptable, necessary and required for the public use of
said City of South San Francisco, to wit: For the construction,
operation, maintenance and use of a sewage pumping plant to
alleviate the present critical deficiency in the force mains
which carry raw sewage from the central part of South San
Francisco to the sewage treatment plant.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney is hereby
ordered and directed to commence proceedings in eminent domain
against the owners of said parcels of land and any and all in-
terests therein or claims thereto for the condemnation there-
of for the public use of the City of South San Francisco as
aforesaid.
