A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE PROPOSAL TO ESTAB-
LISH A NORTH COUNTY BRANCH OF THE SAN MATEO
COUNTY MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES
WHEREAS, The Mental Health Advisory Board of San Mateo
County has proposed the establishment of a North County
Branch of the San Marco County Mental Health Services, and
WHEREAS, The South San Francisco Woman's Club and
the Serra Highlands Improvement Association together with
several other individuals and organizations have requested
the City Council's formal support of said proposal, and
WHEREAS, The City Council is of the opinion that the
proposal is meritorious and desires to indicate their formal
support thereof to the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of South San Francisco that it does hereby declare
its support of the proposal to establish a North County
Branch of the San Mateo County Mental Health Services, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall for-
ward to the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors a copy
of this Resolution in order that they may be informed that
the Council has formally endorsed its support thereof.
