A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO IN MEMORY OF DR. J. C.
McGOVE1Uq
WHEBEAS, it has pleased Almighty God in his infinite
wisdom to remove from our midst Dr. J. C. McGovern, and
WHEREAS, he was a resident of South San Francisco and
a member of the first governing body of the City, and
WHE~S, as a resident of this community and as a
loyal, and faithful public servant he contributed greatly
to the improvement of the City of South San Francisco.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of South San Francisco that the members hereof
lament the passing of Dr. J. C. McGovern and 'extend their
sincere sympathy to his family in their hour of sorrow.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution be spread
uPon the official minutes of this City Council and that a
copy of this Resolution be sent to Mrs. J. C. McGovern.
