HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 3738-1963RESOLUTION NO. 3738 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO AUTHORIZING THE CITY ATTORNEY TO CONSENT TO CANCELLATION OF TAXES ON PROPERTY ACQUIRED FOR PUB- LIC USE AND REQUESTING THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS TO AUTHORIZE CANCELLATION OF COUNTY TAXES AND THE DISTRICT ATTORNEY TO CONSENT THERETO BE IT RESOLVED BY the City Council of the City of South San Francisco tbmt: WHEREAS, the City of South San Francisco acquired certain parcels of real property for public purposes, to wit: development..of the South San Francisco Marina, and said parcels are hereinafter more particularly described, and, WHEREAS, the City Council of said City desires to authorize the City Attorney to consent to the cancellation of taxes pursuant to Section 4986.2 of the Revenue and Taxation Code of the State of California, and, further, re- quests the Board of Supervisors for the County of San Mateo to authorize cancellation of County taxes and the District Attorney of said County to consent thereto; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED that: (1) The City Attorney of the City of South San Fran- cisco is authorized to consent to cancellation of taxes on those parcels of real property acquired for public pur- pose, to wit: development of the South San Francisco Marina, said site being particularly described as follows: Tide Lots 3 and 4 in Section 23, Township 3 South, Range 5 West, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian and Tide Lots 28, 29 and 30 of Section 14, Township 3 South, Range 5 West, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian (2) That this Resolution be filed with the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo and the District Attorney of the County of San Mateo,'and be deemed a re- quest to said Board of Supervisors and District Attorney to authorize and consent, respectively, to cancellation of taxes on said parcels of real property. the City of South San Francisco at a meeting held this 1st day of 19 63, by the following vote: AYES, COUNCILMEN I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of regular July NOES, " ABSENT, " Patrick E.
