A RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT
1963 SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco,
California, that
WHERE,, the City Clerk did publicly open, examine and declare, on
the ~6th day of July, 1963, at the office of the City Manager of said
Clty~ all sealed proposals or bids for the work to be done and improvements
to be made, as described and specified in the plans and specifications
fo~ the construction of the 1963 Sanitary Sewer Improvement Project,
heretofore approved by this Council, to which reference is hereby made
for a description of the work and improvements to be done and the materials,
supplies.and equipment to be furnished therefor;
N0W~THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, as follows:
1.- ~t said Council hereby rejects all of said proposals or bids
except ~1a$ hereinafter mentioned, and hereby awards to contract for
doing the~orkand improvements and furnishing the materiaAa, Supplies
and equi~en$ necessary therefor, to the lowest responsible bidder, to wit:
LOWRIE PAVING COMPANY, INC.
aW ~he urit~ prices named in ~ bid.
2. That the l~ayor of said City is hereb~ authorized to make and
enter into a written contract with said successful bidder, and to receive
and approve all bonds in con~ection therewith, and the City Clerk is
hereb~'direeted to attest his signature and affix thereto the official
meal of 'said City.
