A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO APPROVING THE REPORT
AND RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION
REZONING OF PARCEL C-1 OR NEIGHBORHOOD COM-
MERCIAL DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of South
San Francisco has duly filed its report and recommendations
to rezone that certain parcel hereinafter described C-1
or Neighborhood Commercial District, after hearings and
proceedings in accordance with the Government Code of the
State of California and relevant ordinances of the City of
South San Francisco, and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco, after hearings duly noticed, desires to approve
said rezoning and endorse it to evidence that it has been
adopted by the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of South San Francisco does hereby approve the
report and recommendations of the Planning Commission of
said City to amend Zoning Ordinance No.353 as amended, and
in particular Section 2.2 of said Ordinance as amended,
together with the map adopted by said Section so as to zone
or rezone as C-1 or Neighborhood Commercial District that
certain parcel described as follows, to wit:
Beginning at a point which is 19.6 feet
north of Southern Pacific Railroad Station 870
14 which is also located on the northwest
property line of Chestnut Avenue, thence from
said point of beginning proceeding in a north-
westerly direction N 54° 47' 55" W for a distance
of 100 feet to a point thenc~ proceeding in a
northwesterly direction N 52v 38' 55" W 1OO
feet to a point, thence turning and proceeding
in a northeasterly direction N 37° 21' 05" E
for a distance of 50.40 feet to a point thence
turning and proceeding in southeasterly direction
S 49° 08' 25" E for a distance of 13.79
feet to a point thence proceeding in a south-
easterly direction on the arc of a curve
to the left of radius 533 feet, central angle
of 9° 48' 21" for an arc distance of 91.22
feet, thence proceeding on a tangent southeaster-
ly S 46° 17' 50" E for a distance of 34.94
feet to a point, thence proceeding on the arc
distance of 26.98 feet to the point of beginning,
the total area being 5218 square feet plus
or minus or approximately 0.143 acres
and further orders the endorsement of said report and re-
commendations by the signature of the Mayor of the City
of South San Francisco attested to by the City Clerk to
show that said report, recommendations and additions have
been adopted by the City Council.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council does
hereby order the drafting of an ordinance amending Zoning
Ordinance No.353, as amended, and in particular Section 2.2
as amended of said Ordinance to effect said zoning change.
