A RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT
TRAFFIC SIGNAL SYSTEM INSTALLATION
PHASE A - GRAND AND CHESTNUT AVENUE
PHASE B - GRAND AND ORANGE AVENUE
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco, California, that
WHEREAS, pursuant to previous order of the City Coun-
cil and published notice, bids were publicly opened, examined
and declared on the 12th day of November ,
196~ for the work to be done and the improvement to be
made as described and specified in Resolution No.q?qq entitled
"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN
FRANCISCO APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AUTHORIZING THE
WORK AND CALLING FOR BIDS ON THE IMPROVEMENT OF TRAFFIC SIGNAL
SYSTEM INSTALLATION - PHASE A-GRAND AND CHESTNUT AVENUE, PHASE
B-GRAND AND ORANGE AVENUE".
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED as follows:
1. That said Council does hereby reject all of said
proposals or bids except that hereinafter mentioned, and here-
by awards the contract for doing the work and improvements and
furnishing the materials, supplies and equipment necessary
therefor to the lowest responsible bidder, to wit:
ECCO PHOENIX ELECTRIC CORP.
at the unit prices named in their bid.
2. That the Mayor of said City is hereby authorized
to make and enter into a written contract with said success-
ful bidder, and to authorize, receive and approve all bonds
in connection therewith, and the City Clerk of said City is
hereby directed to attest his signature and affix thereto the
corporate seal of said City.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was
regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of
the City of South San Francisco at a regular
meeting held om the ~ lSth day of November
