A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO ADOPTING THE GENERAL
PLAN OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
South San Francisco that:
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of South
San Francisco certified to the City Council the General
Plan of the City of South San Francisco, which was duly
adopted by said Planning Commission on the 8th day of July,
1963, by Resolution No.1613A entitled "A Resolution Of The
South San Francisco Planning Commission Adopting The
General Plan Of The City Of South San Francisco", after
hearings and other required proceedings were duly noticed,
held and concluded, and said Commission did cause the action
adopting said General Plan to be recorded on the maps, plans
and descriptive matter composing said General Plan by the
identifying signatures of the Chairman and Secretary, and,
WHEREAS, the City Council did on the lSth of November,
1963, in Resolution No.3820 entitled "A Resolution Of The
City Council Of The City Of South San Francisco Setting A
Hearing On The General Plan Adopted By The Planning Com-
mission And Certified To The City Council" set a hearing
for the 2nd of.December, 1963, on the adoption of such
plan by the City Council in accordance with Government Sec-
tions 65509 and 6061, giving notice of said hearing by
publication of notice in the Enterprise-Journal, a newspaper
of general circulation, on November 20th, 1963, which day
is ten days prior to the date set for said hearing, affi-
davit of which publication of notice is on file with the
office of the City Clerk, and,
WHEREAS, the City Council did hold said hearing on
the 2nd day of December, 1963, and did thereupon consider
the General Plan as certified to it by the Planning Com-
mission and the facts adduced at said hearing, and,
WHEREAS, upon the closing of said hearing on the 2nd
day of December, 1963, said City Council desired to adopt
said General Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED THAT:
1. The document entitled "General Plan Proposal for
the City of South San Francisco, April 19, 1963" prepared
by William Spangle and Associates, is hereby adopted as
the General Plan of the City of South San Francisco.
2. The following descriptive matter, plans and maps
contained in said document shall constitute the General
Plan of the City of South San Francisco:

3. The following endorsement shall be placed on the
General Plan to show that it has been adopted by the legis-
lative body, and the signatures of the Mayor and the City
Clerk shall be subscribed thereto:

The undersigned hereby certify that the City
Council of the City of South San Francisco did
by Resolution No. entitled "A Resolution
of the City Council of the City of South San

matter as the General Plan of the City of
South San Francisco on the 2nd day of December,
1963.
