A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO REFERRING TO THE PLANNING
COMMISSION IN ACCORDANCE WITH GOVERNMENT CODE
SECTION 35108, THE. REQUEST FOR CONSENT TO COMMENCE
ANNEXATION PROCEEDINGS FOR THE INHABITED PORTION
OF WESTBOROUGH
WHEREAS, a petition for annexation of the inhabited
territory known as Westborough has been presented to the
City Council of the City of South San Francisco, and
WHEREAS, the City Council, prior to giving consent
to undertaking annexation proceedings pursuant to the
Annexation Act of 1913, desires to have a report and recom-
mendation in accordance with Government Code Section 35108.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of South San Francisco:
1. That the request for annexation in accordance with
the Annexation Act of 1913 for consent to commence proceedings
to annex the inhabited portion of Westborough, be referred to
the Planning Commission of the City of South San Francisco
for report and recommendation in accordance with Section
35108 of the Government Code.
2. That the City Clerk forward to the Planning Commission
a copy of the request together with a description and map
of said territory.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was
regularly introduced and adopted at a regular
meeting held on the 2nd day of December ,
19 63 by the following vote:
