CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFOrnIA
A RESOLUTION GRANTING A GRADING PERMIT TO FOLGER
COFFEE COMPANY
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco that the Director of Public Works having filed
a report of his recommendations on the application of Folger
Coffee Company for a grading permit, the City Council hereby
authorizes the City Clerk to issue to Folger Coffee Company
a grading permit to grade the property described in the appli-
cation and map entitled, ~'Grading Plan, J. A. Folger & Co.,
South San Francisco, California, Drawing No. 6265 G-i". Said
grading permit shall provide that the grading be done in accord-
ance with the report and recommendations of the Director of
Public Works, which is hereby referred to and by this reference
made a part hereof, and the grading plan shown on the map
entitled "Grading Plan, J. A. Folger & Co., South San Fran-
cisco, California, Drawing No. 6265 G-iI'. Said permit shall
contain provisions indemnifying and holding the City, its
elective officials, officers and employees harmless from claims
and further requiring conduction of the grading work in a manner
that it will not injure the property in the vicinity of the land
to be graded.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall collect
the cost of defraying the expense of the examination and the
report by the Director of Public Works in the sum of $ 10.00
(Ten and no/lO0 Dollars) , prior to issuing the permit, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Public Works
shall ascertain by inspection that said grading is performed
in accordance with the permit and upon its completion, shall
file with the City Clerk a report stating the results of said
inspection and certifying that the grading has been per-
formed in accordance with the permit.
