HomeMy WebLinkAboutYellow Cab Increase RatesORDINANCE N0. 689-75 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 251, AS AMENDED, PROVIDING FOR INCREASE IN TAXICAB RATES. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. Amendments of Sub-Paragraphs 1, 2 and 6 of Paragraph G of Section 13 of Ordinance 251, as amended, are hereby amended to read as follows: Paragraph G: The rates fixed or charged or collected by the owner or driver of any taxicab as defined in Section I of this Ordinance, except for trips to or from points outside of the City of South San Francisco where said charge is fixed on a trip basis, shall not exceed the following: (1) For the first one-ninth mile or fraction thereof, ninety cents (90~). (2) For each additional one-ninth mile or fraction thereof, ten cents (10~). (6) For waiting, thirty cents (30~) for each two (2) minutes or fraction thereof after the first five (5) minutes, except that the rate per hour shall not exceed nine dollars ($9.00). SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be published once in the Enterprise- Journal, a newspaper of general circulation in the City of South San Francisco, as required by law, and shall become effective thirty (30) days from and after its adoption. -1- Ci~i•~"~'i~AL RE~ORt~3 FIL-1~ NQ.t ,,..,,atl,.l..4~,,...,.,m..
