NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, pursuant to Section 54956 c-F the Government Code of the State of
California, the City Council of the City of South San Francisco and the South San Francisco
Redevelopment Agency will hold a Special Meeting on Monday, the 3rd day of November, 2008, at
6:30 p.m., at the City Hall in the large Conference Room, 400 Grand Avenue, South San Francisco,
California.
Purpose of the meeting:
1. Call to Order.
2. Roll Call.
3. Public Comments.
4. Closed Session: Conference with Real Property Negotiator
(Pursuant to Government Code section 54956.8)
Property: Oyster Point Marina Area Properties known as Parcels A, B, C,
D-1, D-2, E 1-4 and I-4
Negotiating Parties: City of South San Francisco, South San Francisco
Redevelopment Agency and Oyster Point Ventures, LLC.
Agency Negotiator: Marty Van Duyn
Under Negotiations: Terms and Conditions for sale of property interests.
5. Presentation by Oyster Point Ventures, LLC regarding its Preliminary
Concept Plan for property including 375-389 Oyster Point Boulevard
("Oyster Point Business Park") and property within the Oyster Point
Marina Area.
6. Closed Session: Conference with Legal Counsel -Anticipated Litigation
(Pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(c))
Initiation of Litigation: Two Cases.
7. Adjournment.

SZ~B~TEC'I': Redevelopment Concept Plans for Oyster Point Business Park and Oyster Point
Marina
Ouster Point Ventures (SKS Investments and Shorenstein Properties) has recently purchased the
Oyster Point Business Park, 3 i 5-3 89 Oyster Point Boulevard, and has negotiated a purchase and sale
agreement to acquire King Venture's leasehold interest in adjacent and/or nearby property within the
City owned Oyster Point Marina. Additionally, they have entered into an EYClusive Negotiation
Rights Agreement (ENRA) with the City to work to develop an integrated development on the
combined sites and negotiate terms and conditions that could govern. such development.
Staff has been meeting regularly with the development team since September toward drafting a
Framework Agreement which is scheduled to be presented to the Council at its November 12, 2008
regular meeting. In advance of that, Oyster Point Ventures wanted to introduce its development
team, present its concept plans to the City Council and seek any initial comments or input from the
City Council regarding the concept plans.
No hard copies of plans are available at this time, but the development team will provide a full
presentation on Monday evening.
