CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF
ADDITIONAL GRANT FUNDING IN THE AMOUNT OF $35,000
FOR THE COMMUNITY LEARNING CENTER AND AMENDING
THE LIBRARY'S 1999-2000 OPERATING BUDGET (NO. 00-4)
WHEREAS, staff desires to accept additional grant funding in the amount of
$35,000 for the Community Learning Center; and
WHEREAS, additional grant funding received in fiscal year 1999-2000 will be
used to amend the Library's current budget; and
WHEREAS, grant cycles typically run for one year from time of receipt;
therefore, funds not expended at the end of Fiscal Year 1999-2000 will be carried over
into the following year.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
South San Francisco hereby accepts additional grand funding in the amount of $35,000
for the Community Learning Center and amends the Library's 1999-2000 Operating
Budget (No. 00-4) in order to utilize this additional revenue in the current operating
budget year.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by
the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a re~ul ar meeting
held on the 13th day of October ,1999 by the following vote:

Penna,
