CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AMENDMENT NO.4 TO
THE MASTER CONTRACTUAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH CORI.ETT,
SKAER AND DE VOTO ARCHITECTS (CSDA) TO PROVIDE DESIGN AND
CONSTRUCTION SUPPORT SERVICES IN CONNECTION WITH THE
AIRCRAFT NOISE INSULATION PROGRAM FOR FISCAL YEAR 1999-2000
WHEREAS, the Master Contractual Services Agreement was approved by the City Council
in 1995 to define a scope of services, establish fees, and provide a mechanism for adjusting fees for
inflation or other factors; and
WHEREAS, the City of South San Francisco now wishes to execute Amendment No.4 of
the Master Contractual Services Agreement with Corlett, Skaer and De Voto Architects in order to
further modify the scope of services and fees to cover work at: St. Veronica's Church, the Convent
and Parish Hall (434-450 Alida Way ), Church of Christ (361 Alta Vista Drive), New Covenant
Presbyterian Church (196 County Club Drive), and South San Francisco Housing Authority (350 C
Street); and
WHEREAS, the total fees (including a 25% change order allowance) cannot exceed
$487,789 without further authorization; and
WHEREAS, this project is funded by the City's Memorandum of Understanding with the
San Francisco International Airport and the Federal Aviation Administration Grant.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco, that:
1.) The attached Amendment No.4 to the Master Contractual Services Agreement
between the City of South San Francisco and Corlett, Skaer & DeVoto Architects for design and
construction support services in connection with the Aircraft Noise Insulation Program for FY 1999-
2000 is hereby approved.
2.) The total fees ( including a 25% change order allowance) shall not exceed $487,789,
without further authorization by the City Council.
3.) The project shall be funded by the City's Memorandum of Understanding with San
Francisco International Airport and the Federal Administration Grant.
4.) The City Manager is authorized to execute on behalf of the City of South San
Francisco the attached Amendment No. 4 to the Master Contractual Services Agreement with
Corlett, Skaer & De Voto Architects.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the
City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a re.ctu/ar meeting held on the 13th day
of October ,1999 by the following vote.
AYES: Councilmembers Joseph A. Fernekes, Euoene R. Mullin and John R.
Penna, Mayor Pro Tem Matsumoto, and Mayor James L. Datzman
