CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION WAIVING THE IRREGULARITY IN THE BIDDING
FOR THE AIRCRAFT NOISE INSULATION PROGRAM PHASE XX
PROJECT, AND AWARDING THE CONTRACT FOR
CONSTRUCTION TO NORTH STATE SPECIALTY CONTRACTING,
INC., IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $318,000
WHEREAS, the low bidder of this project North State Specialty Contracting, Inc. did not
include a list of references with their bid as required by the contract documents; and
WHEREAS, North State Specialty Contracting Inc. immediately provided the required
list of references upon bid opening; and
WHEREAS, this bidding irregularity does not materially effect the bid and thus the
irregularity is inconsequential; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to waive the irregularity in the bidding for this
project, and award the contract for construction to North State Specialty Contracting Inc., in an
amount not to exceed $318,000; and
WHEREAS, this project is funded by our Memorandum of Understanding with the San
Francisco International Airport (and accumulated interest earned on those funds).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco that the City Council hereby waives irregularities in the bidding for the 'Aircraft Noise
Insulation Program Phase XX Project, and awards the contract for construction to North State
Specialty Contracting, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $318,000 with funding from the
Memorandum of Understanding with the San Francisco International Airport.
I hereby certify that the foregoing is a tree copy of the resolution adopted by the City Council of
the City of South San Francisco in a meeting thereof held on the 13th day of October ,
1999 by the following:
