HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 134-1999RESOLUTION NO. 134-99 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO AND THE UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT RELATED TO DECLARATION OF THE HILLSIDE PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE AT HILLSIDE BOULEVARD BETWEEN RIDGEVIEW COURT AND LINCOLN STREET AS A CITY BRIDGE AND FOR CONSTRUCTION COSTS FOR THE SEISMIC RETROFIT OF THE BRIDGE WHEREAS, the City desires to enter into an agreement with the Unified School District related to declaration of the Hillside Pedestrian Bridge at Hillside Boulevard between Ridgeview Court and Lincoln Street as a City Bridge and for construction costs for the seismic retrofit of the bridge; and WHEREAS, funding for this project is under the Highway Bridge Replacement and Rehabilitation Program Mandatory Seismic Retrofit Fund. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City of South San Francisco that the City Council hereby approves an agreement between the City of South San Francisco and the South San Francisco Unified School District related to declaration of the Hillside Pedestrian Bridge at Hillside Boulevard between Ridgeview Court and Lincoln Street as a City Bridge and for construction costs for the Seismic Retrofit of the Bridge with funding for the Highway Bridge Replacement and Rehabilitation Program Mandatory Seismic Retrofit Fund. I hereby certify that the foregoing is a tree copy of the resolution adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco in a meeting thereof held on the 13th day of October , 1999 by the following: AYES: Councilmembers doseph A.
