CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION TO NAME THE ORANGE MEMORIAL PARK
SOFTBALL FIELD IN HONOR OF ARCHIF FREGOSI AND TO
NAME A ROOM AT THE MUNICIPAL SERVICES BUIIJDING IN
RECOGNITION OF MARIE PETERSON
WHEREAS, the South San Francisco Police Department put forth the proposal to name
the softball field at Orange Park after Mr. Archic Fregosi; and
WHEREAS, the proposal to name a room in the Municipal Services Building after Marie
Peterson was made by Dag Alhoim, President of Widows and Widowers, and Frank De Cesare,
President of A.A.R.P. Chapter 3156 and numerous senior citizens.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City of South San Francisco that the
City Council hereby approves the naming of the Orange Memorial Park Softball Field in honor
of Archie Fregosi and approves naming a room at the Municipal Services Building in
Recognition of Marie Peterson.
I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of the resolution adopted by the City Council of
the City of South San Francisco in a meeting thereof held on the 13th day of October ,
1999 by the following:
