CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT
WITH MARK THOMAS & CO. TO DESIGN THE UTAH BRIDGE
REPAIR IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $64,200
WHEREAS, due to the underlying Bay Mud in the area of the Utah Bridge,
settlement of the surrounding area has occurred causing abrupt grade changes when
crossing this bridge; and
WHEREAS, the City has retained the services of Mark Thomas to design repairs to the
bridge approaches; and
WHEREAS, the project is included in this year's Capital Improvement Program with
funding from Measure A in the amount of $75,000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City of South San Francisco that the
City Council hereby authorizes execution of an agreement with Mark Thomas & Co. to design
the Utah Bridge Repair in an amount not to exceed $64,000 with funding from Measure A.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council hereby authorizes the City Manager
to execute the Agreement on behalf of the City.

the City of South San Francisco in a meeting thereof held on the 10 day of November ,
1999 by the following:
