CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ALLOCATION OF $150,000
OF CDBG FUNDS FOR THE REHABILITATION OF 333-341
COMMERCIAL AVENUE
WHEREAS, the rehabilitation of 333-341 Commercial Avenue is an excellent way of
revitalizing blighted conditions in historic neighborhoods and one which increases the supply of
work force housing in our community; and
WHEREAS, additionally, the project fulfills the Agency's housing replacement
obligation incurred with last year's demolition of 432 Baden Avenue; and
WHEREAS, it is recommended that City Council adopt the attached resolution allocating
CDBG funds for this housing rehabilitation activity.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco that the City Council hereby authorizes the allocation of $150,000 of CDBG funds for
the rehabilitation of 333-341 Commercial Avenue.
