CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION RE-AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH
THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO FOR COMMUNICATIONS
SERVICES PROVIDED TO THE SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO FIRE
DEPARTMENT AND APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE
FIRE DEPARTMENT'S OPERATING BUDGET
WHEREAS, staff recommends the City enter into an agreement with the County of San
Mateo for communications services provided to the South San Francisco Fire Department; and
WHEREAS, funding from the Fire Operating Fund will pay for the contracted services
provided by the County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco that it hereby:
1. Re-authorizes an agreement with the County of San Mateo for communications services
provided to the South San Francisco Fire Department.
2. Approves an amendment to the Fire Department's operating budget.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute the
agreement on behalf of the City of South San Francisco.

I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the
City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 27th day of January,
2010 by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Pedro Gonzalez, Richard A. Garbarino, and Karyl Matsumoto,
Vice Mayor Kevin Mullin and Mayor Mark Addiego
