CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT IN AN
AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $86,587.00 TO SATTERFIELD AND COMPANY
FOR THE 432 BADEN AVENUE, PARKING LOT NO. 14, PROJECT AND
APPROVING A PROJECT BUDGET OF $99,087.00
WHEREAS, the City desires to award the construction contract to the lowest responsible bidder,
Satterfield and Company in an amount not to exceed $86,587.00; and
WHEREAS, this project is included in the 1997-98 Capital Improvement Program with appropriated
funds from Parking District in the amount of $80,000.00; and
WHEREAS, an additional amount of $20,000.00. from the Parking District will be needed to cover
the costs for the construction, contingencies, administration, engineering and inspection; and
WHEREAS, the 1998-99 Capital Improvement Program budget proposes a budget from the Parking
District of $100,000.00 for this project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that
the City Council hereby awards a construction contract in an amount not to exceed $86,587.00 to Satterfield
and Company for the 432 Baden Avenue, Parking Lot No. 14, project and approving a project budget of
$99,087.00.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City
Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regu 1 ar' meeting held on the 23rd day of
September ,1998 bythe following vote:
