HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 138-1998RESOLUTION NO. 13 $ - 9 8 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SUBMITTAL OF GRANT APPLICATIONS TO THE BIKEWAYS AND PEDESTRIAN ADVISORY COMMITTEE WHEREAS, the Transportation Development Act, Article 3 provides funds for construction of bicycle and pedestrian projects in San Mateo County; WHEREAS, applications for such funding must be submitted to the City/County Association of Governments of San Mateo County by December 1, 1998 to be considered for the 1999-2000 Transportation Development Act Funding; NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council hereby authorizes the submission of grant application pursuant to the Transportation Development Act, Article 3, for the following projects. Utah Avenue Railroad Crossing Improvements at Colma Creek-installation of a prefabricated concrete crossing; Bicycle Storage Lockers - Installation of bicycle storage lockers at the new corporation yard and the City Hall annex complex; Public access improvements project and Baytrail Connects - install trail and access improvement as shown in the staff report; I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a Novernbe~:1998 by the following vote: meeting held on the ] 13 ~ l~itay of Councilmember John R.
