CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO AND BBN TECHNOLOGIES FOR AIRCRAFT
NOISE RELATED CONSULTING WORK AND APPROVING AN
AMENDMENT TO THE 1998-1999 OPERATING BUDGET (99-8) TO
ADD $252,648 TO THE NON-DEPARTMENTAL BUDGET
WHEREAS, the City Council has entered into agreements with BBN Technologies Corporation on
several prior occasions to provide aircraft noise related consulting services; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to expand the scope of services performed by BBN
Technologies Corporation;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
that it hereby approves the Agreement between the City and BBN Technologies in an amount not to
exceed $252,648. The City Manager is hereby authorized to sign the Agreement.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of South San Francisco hereby
approves an amendment to the 1998-1999 Operating Budget to appropriate $252,648 from the Non-
Designated General Fund Reserve to the Non-Departmental budget for the BBN Agreement.
