CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE 1998-99 OPERATING
BUDGET (No. 99-9) TO ADD $61,894 TO THE POLICE DEPARTMENT BUDGET
WITH FUNDING FROM THE LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT BLOCK GRANTS
PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the South San Francisco Police Department has been selected to receive a grant
pursuant to the Local Law Enforcement Block Grants Program; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that:
The City Council hereby approves an amendment to the 1998-99 operating budget
(No. 99-9) to add $61,894 to the Police Department budget with funding provided by the
Local Law Enforcement Block Grants Program; and
The City Manager is authorized to execute all documents necessary to obtain the grant
funds.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City
Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regu l a r meeting held on the 9th day of__
Dec. , 1998 by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Joseph A. Fernekes, Karyl
Mullin, John R. Penna and Mayor Jameq I.
