CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A ONE-TIME
DONATION FROM AVIS-RENT-A-CAR SYSTEM IN THE AMOUNT OF
$50,000 AND APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE 1998-99
OPERATING BUDGET (No. 99-12)
WHEREAS, staff desires to accept a donation from Avis-Rent-a-Car System in
the amount of $50,000; and
WHEREAS, the one-time donation will be used to support the Community
Learning Center.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
South San Francisco hereby authorizes the acceptance of a one-time donation from Avis-
Rent-a-Car System in the amount of $50,000 and approves an amendment to the 1998-99
Operating Budget (No. 99-12) to add $50,000 to the Community Learning Center budget.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by
the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a Regular meeting
held on the 10th day of March , 1999 by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Joseph A. Fernekes, Eugene R. Null/ri. John
R. Penna, and Karyl Matsumoto, and Mayor James. L. Datzman.
NOES: None
ABSTAIN: None
ABSENT: None
