CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT TO S.G. BARBER
CONSTRUCTION, INC. FOR A FEE NOT TO EXCEED $101,520 FOR
TRAFFIC SIGNAL SYSTEM - GATEWAY BOULEVARD PROJECT
NO. 51-13231-9819 (TR-97-5), BID NO. 2238
WHEREAS, the City desires to award the construction contract to the lowest responsible
bidder, S.G. Barber Construction, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $101,520.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco that the City Council hereby authorizes an award of contract in an amount not to
exceed $101,520 for Traffic Signal System - Gateway Boulevard Project No. 51-13231-9819
(TR-97-5), Bid No. 2238 with funding available from the Gateway Assessment.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the
City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a Regular meeting held on the 10th
day of March , 1999 by the following vote:
AYES:
Councilmembers Joseph A. Fernekes, Eugene R. Mullin, John
R. Penna, and Karyl Matsumoto, and Mayor James. L. Datzman.
