HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 59-2010RESOLUTION NO. 59-2010 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE CONFERENCE CENTER FISCAL YEAR 2010-2011 BUDGET. WHEREAS, South San Francisco Municipal Code §2.78.010 et seq. requires that the Conference Center budget be approved by the City Council; and WHEREAS, the Conference Center Authority has conducted public meetings, considered available public input, and reviewed the Fiscal Year 2010-2011 budget; and WHEREAS, the Authority found that the budget represented the appropriate level of expenditures for Fiscal Year 2010-2011 and recommended that the proposed budget be approved by the City Council. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco as follows: 1. The budget identified as the "Conference Center Fiscal Year 2010-2011 Operating Budget" in the amount of $3,144,679 in revenue and $3,093,651 in expenditures is hereby approved by the City Council. 2. The budget identified as the "Conference Center Fiscal Year 2010-2011 Capital Improvement Budget" in the amount of $60,000 in capital expenditures is hereby approved by the City Council. 3. Each budget category listed in Municipal Code §2.78.106 is funded to the limits specified in the proposed budget. 4. The funds collected pursuant to Municipal Code §4.20.035 are hereby appropriated to fund the Conference Center budget. 5. The City Manager and Finance Director are hereby directed and authorized to make the specified funds available to the Conference Center. 6. Copies of the Conference Center budget shall be made available for public review and inspection in the Offices of the City Clerk and Administrative Offices of the Conference Center. * ~ ~ I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 23r day of June, 2010 by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Pedro Gonzalez, Richard A.
