CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE OF A GRANT FROM THE
DAVID AND LUCILLE PACKARD FOUNDATION IN THE AMOUNT OF
$30,000 TO FUND A VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR POSITION AND
AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE 1998-99 OPERATING
BUDGET ( No. 99-14) TO ADD $30,000 TO THE LIBRARY BUDGET UPON
RECEIPT OF THE GRANT
WHEREAS, the City desires to accept a grant from the David and Lucille Packard Foundation in
the amount of $30,000 to fund a Volunteer Coordinator position to be assigned to the Community
Learning Center.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
that the City Council authorizes the acceptance of a grant from the David and Lucille Packard Foundation
in the amount of $30,000 to fund a Volunteer Coordinator Position and authorizes an amendment to the
1998-99 Operating Budget to add $30,000 to the Library budget ( No. 99-14) upon receipt of the grant.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City
Council of the City of South San Francisco at a Regular meeting held on the //,th day of March
