HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 35-1999RESOLUTION NO. 35-99 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CAL~ORNIA A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE OF A GRANT FROM THE CALIFORNIA STATE LIBRARY IN THE AMOUNT OF $10,000 FOR THE SHADES OF CALIFORNIA PROJECT AND AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE 1998-99 OPERATING BUDGET (No. 99-15) TO ADD $10,000 TO THE LIBRARY BUDGET UPON RECEIPT OF THE GRANT WHEREAS, the City desires to accept a grant from the California State Library that is funded by the federal Library Services Technology Act, in the amount of $10,000 to fund the statewide photo history project. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the City Council authorizes acceptance of a grant from the California State Library in the amount of $10,000 for the Shades of California Project and authorizes an amendment to the 1998-99 Operating Budget (No. 99-15) to add 10,000 to the Library budget upon receipt of the grant. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a Regular meeting held on the 26th day of March __, 1999 by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Joseph A. Fernekes, Eugene R. Mullin, John R. Penna, Mayor Pro Tem Karyl Matsumoto, and Mayor James L. Datzman. NOES: lqone. ABSTAIN: lqone. ABSENT: lqone.
