CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A CONTRACT WITH PMC
TO PREPARE A COMMUNITY-WIDE GREENHOUSE GAS
EMISSIONS INVENTORY
WHEREAS, following a request for proposal process, staff recommends that PMC
prepare the Community-wide Greenhouse Gas Emissions Inventory; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Energy has approved funding for preparation of the
City's Community-Wide Emissions Inventory.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco that the City Council ]hereby authorizes the City Manager to proceed with the
Community-Wide Emissions Inventory; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute the
documents necessary to effectuate the contract with PMC for preparation of the Community-
wide Emissions Inventory on behalf' of the City Council.

I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by
the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 28th day of
July, 2010 by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Pedro Gonzalez, Richard A. Garbarino, and Karyl Matsumoto,
Vice Mayor Kevin Mullin and Mayor Mark Addiego
