CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A GRANT FROM THE PENINSULA
COMMUNITY FOUNDATION IN THE AMOUNT OF $30,000.00 TO FUND
THE PROJECT READ COMPUTER LAB AND AUTHORIZING A BUDGET
AMENDMENT TO THE 1998-99 OPERATING BUDGET (99-20)
WHEREAS, staff desires to accept a grant from the Peninsula Community Foundation in
the amount of $30,000.00 to fund the Project Read Computer Lab; and
WHEREAS, funding for the Computer Lab is provided by the Peninsula Community
Foundation for one year from June 1999 through May 20, 2000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco that the City Council hereby accepts a grant from the Peninsula Community
Foundation in the amount of $30,000.00 to fund the Project Read Computer Lab and authorizes a
budget amendment to the 1998-99 Operating Budget (99-20) to add $30,000 to Library budget.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the
City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a Regular meeting held on the 9th
_ day of June , 1999 by the following vote:

Councilmembers Joseph A. Fernekes, Eugene R. Mullin, John
R. Penna, Mayor Pro Tem garyl Matsumoto, and Mayor James L. Datzman.
