CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE JOINT POWERS
AGREEMENT CONTINUING THE CITY'S PARTICIPATION
IN THE CITY/COUNTY ASSOCIATION OF GOVERNMENTS
WHEREAS, the current Joint Powers Agreement forming the City/County
Association of Government expires December 1, 1999; and
WHEREAS, the City/County Association of Government Board of Directors
unanimously recommends the continuation of City/County Association of Government and
approval of the Joint Powers Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco that the City Council hereby authorizes the Joint Powers Agreement Continuing the
City's participation in the City/County Association of Government.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the
agreement on behalf of the City of South San Francisco.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City
Council of the City of South San Francisco at a Regular meeting held on the 9th day
of June , 1999 by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Joseph A. Fernekes, Eugene R. Hullin, John
R. Penna, Hayor Pro Tem Karyl Natsumoto, and Nayor James L. Datzman.
